We unite society, science and business to build Switzerland's new prosperity model

3 Lighthouse missions

SIPI’s strategy is built around the three core pillars that shape Switzerland’s economy: Food & Nutrition, Health and Resources.

Healthier lifespan for all

SIPI helps translate Switzerland’s health innovation into longer, healthier lives as well as more affordable care, supporting wellbeing at scale.

By cutting preventable diseases and extending healthy life, it ensures equitable access and a healthcare system that supports vitality for all.

By 2035, it aims to cut preventable diseases by 25% and 90% of citizens will have digital health access.

Regenerative Food Systems

SIPI supports food system transformation that restores nature, improves people’s health, and makes nutritious food more accessible and affordable.

It is about reconnecting soil health, local sourcing, and human wellbeing so every meal supports both people and the planet.

By 2035, it targets 60% regenerative farmland, a 35% cut in food emissions, and 80% local sourcing for institutional meals.

SIPI advances circular approaches that keep materials at their highest value, reduce costs, and strengthen economic resilience and competitiveness.

Through a regenerative, low-carbon, and circular economy, we rethink production and consumption so that prosperity gives back to the earth while supporting communities and collaboration.

Cut consumption-based emissions by 45%, shrink material footprint by 30%.

How we turn each mission into impact

Behind every lighthouse mission lie three transversal enablers: the cultural, digital, and financial engines that ensure coherence, accelerate change, and sustain Switzerland’s regenerative prosperity.

They take many forms: words, images, movement, and all kinds of art, bringing ideas to life and inspiring action.
